Biography
Originally from Torrance, California, where he began dancing from the age of
six at The Lauridsen Ballet Centre and Fusion Dance Studio. In 2010, he
received a Spotlight Award in dance from The Music Center of Los Angeles. His
opportunities include the Julliard Summer intensive, the apprentice program at
The Chautauqua Institution, and assisting Cathy Young at Bates Dance Festival.
He earned a BFA magna cum laude in dance performance from the
Boston Conservatory. In college, Jeff worked with Danny Pelzig, Cathy Young,
Gianni DiMarco, Diane Arvanites, Doug Elkins, Adam Barruch, Omar Carrum and
Claudia Lavista. He spent a year dancing with Charlotte Ballet’s second company
where he performed the works of choreographers Mark Diamond, Dwight Rhoden and
David Ingram.
Jeff has had the pleasure of performing with Lucky
Plush Productions and Cocodāco Dance Project during his stay in Chicago. He has
been a company member of Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance in
various seasons and has been dancing with Stewart/Owen Dance since 2018. Jeff
is currently based in Asheville, NC where he both teaches and dances.
