Guidelines

Fitted Dance clothing is preferred. Leotards and leggings/bike shorts are great to get the dancers used to our preferred dance clothing. Although there are fun dance/skirt combos that the little ones may enjoy wearing. No color requirement. Ballet slippers or dance paws work equally well for this application.

Black leotard, ballet pink tights, and split sole pink ballet slippers. Hair must be in a neat bun. Skirts are allowed.

Boys: White or black fitted T-shirt or tank top. – Black basketball shorts or dance pants, leggings - Black ballet slippers.

Note: if you have a class before or after your ballet class – wear your ballet attire with convertible tights, you can simply roll the footed part off your feet and layer shorts or other dance attire if you want and be ready to go without lengthy or inconvenient changing.

Leotard and leggings preferred or fitted athletic top, bike shorts, dance paws, cotton socks. Hair in a low pony tail or low bun.

Note: for many skills taught you may be rolling or sliding on the floor so covering your skin is important to reduce friction burns or sticking to the floor.

Dress the part. Loose clothes preferred. Wear sneakers with support. Hair out of the face. No Booty shorts. (Bring sneakers for dance that are clean and not worn in the street, please.)
